- Develops teaching techniques that enhance course effectiveness
in alignment with desired outcomes and established strategy
- Assists in developing techniques and/or model programs for
carrying out instructional goals in disciplinary area and may help
identify ways in which new techniques could be of assistance
- Assesses learner performance and prepares reports recommending
instructional improvements
- Assists in defining the objectives of the program and play a
major role in carrying out program duties

Stritch Family Literacy Center combines decades of
university-led literacy research with compassionate, individualized
instruction to help every child reach their full reading
potential.

schools-ensures that each child gains the confidence, skills, and
love of reading that open doors for a lifetime.
Compensation:
Tutoring: Lump sum pay rate of $1400/per student/per semester
Pre-tutoring assessment/Pre- and Post-tutoring reporting: $350 per
student/semester
-This is a part time position. The number of students assigned to
each Master Teacher is determined by need of the SFLC and
availability of the selected Master Teacher.
Total: $1750 pay per student/semester
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Holds relevant Wisconsin Teaching Certification or
equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Classroom literacy or intervention experience
- Holds relevant Wisconsin Teaching Certification: reading
teacher license (1316) and/or reading specialist license
(5017)
- Master of Arts or Masters of Science in Reading/Literacy,
Special Education, or Speech and Language
