Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a Mata Ahupae - Administrator, Financial Aid and Compliance for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position.
This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Conversion and Compliance team within Te Kahupapa - International Office, which facilitates the last stage of the international recruitment funnel. The team implements a range of conversion activities that encourage and support international applicants to enrol at the University and work across the University to eliminate barriers to international students’ enrolment. The team also provides a specialist enquiry management function.
This role is also responsible for the day-to-day administration of all aspects of the University’s participation in the United States Federal Student Aid (William D. Ford Direct Loans) programme and the management of other international funding schemes, including US Veteran Affair’s Educational Benefits, Private US Loans, Canadian and European student loan programmes.
