Job Summary
The Materials Characterization Specialist performs advanced operation of assigned instruments. Conducts specialized training on assigned instruments. Assists with interpretation of data from assigned instruments. These instruments include electron microscopes, focused ion beam microscopes, X-ray diffractometers, and similarly related instruments and ancillary specimen preparation equipment.
