This is an independent, multifunctional position responsible for overseeing all aspects of Property Management, Materials Management, and Postal and Shipping Services operations.
Key Responsibilities
Materials Management & Property Operations
- Oversee daily operations of Materials Management, including inventory control, warehousing, distribution, and logistics.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks as needed.
Postal & Shipping Services
- Direct operational, budgetary, and administrative functions of the Postal and Shipping Services department.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state postal regulations and shipping requirements.
Leadership & Supervision
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff and student assistants.
- Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and evaluation of employees.
Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience: 3–5 years of related work experience in Materials Management, Postal Services, Shipping/Receiving, or Logistics; Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity
Required Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, Property Control, and Postal/Shipping service procedures; Experience with automated inventory and accounting systems; Strong verbal and written communication skills
Required License: Valid Florida Driver’s License
