"Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician"

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join our academic team. The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine has a strong urban community-based clinical program. The candidate will provide quality care in on- and off-campus locations, further research, train residents, and educate students. This position is ideal for a clinician-educator and researcher committed to excellence in maternal fetal medicine, advancing clinical care, research, and education in a collaborative academic environment. Expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher, commensurate with experience.

Salary Range: $300,000-$425,000

Qualifications: Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in an academic environment committed to clinical care, research, and teaching; create collaborative partnerships with multi-disciplinary colleagues; and demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, patient safety, and continuous practice improvement. Minimum qualifications include being board-eligible/board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in Maryland, and strong clinical skills in high-risk obstetrics, obstetric surgeries, ultrasound, and invasive procedures.
