Working Title: Math Tutor

Position Summary: Act as one-on-one or small group tutor for student-athletes enrolled in MATH, STAT, PHYS, CSCI, or other math related courses.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Tutor student(s) and aid in their understanding of the material covered in their courses. (60%)
• Maintain a record of what occurred in each tutoring session, including topics covered, student progress, time spent, and student’s level of preparedness for tutoring. (15%)
• Review course topics ahead of sessions to be prepared to utilize time scheduled with student(s). (10%)
• Ensures compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to the Area of academic assistance. (10%)
• Communicate changes in schedule or needs of individual students with Math Lab Coordinator and academic counselors. (5%)
