Math100 Assistant Coordinator (UPDATED)
Position Highlights
Update: The number of openings for this position has been updated from one to two.
The primary role of the Math 100 Assistant Coordinator is to work with the other team members, including the Math 100 Course Director, Program Coordinator, Undergraduate Teaching Assistants, and administrative staff, to help facilitate the Math 100 course, the placement process, as well as in-person office hours and testing.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage afternoon and evening hours for in-person Math 100 classes.
- Manage all afternoon and evening proctored exams for Math 100 classes.
- Assist in addressing academic integrity violations for exams proctored in the Math Lab.
- Assist in maintaining grade and attendance records for students.
- Assist with revision and maintenance of materials for Undergraduate Teaching Assistants who work in Math 100.
- Meet with students regarding the Math 100 classes.
- Assist with training for all undergraduate and graduate student staff.
- Assist with evaluation of all Math 100 undergraduate student and graduate student staff.
- Assist with reviewing videos for various proctoring needs within the department.
- Assist with summer orientations, placement, and advising.
- Assist with answering tickets in Helpspot and student inquiries in Microsoft Teams.
- Update student information in UAccess.
- Assist with Payroll in UAccess for all student workers.
- Assist with hiring for all undergraduate student staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to deliver positive and professional customer service in high-pressure or challenging situations.
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies.
- Ability to work well with a team and under supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
