  • Seeking an internationally profiled scholar working in the field of Financial Accounting (or intersection of Finance and Financial Accounting)

  • Grow your academic leadership in our research-intensive university (QS #65) where academic excellence, collaborative and transdisciplinary research is enabled alongside an unwavering commitment to students, equity and inclusion.

Achieve your scholarly aspirations and grow your leadership as the Matthew Abel Chair. In addition to a strong record of scholarship and a continuing programme of individual and team-based research and supervision the preferred candidate will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to growing the discipline, mentoring and developing our highly motivated academic staff.
  • There is opportunity for those interested to explore leadership opportunities within the Department and Business School.

The Department (QS #66 by subject Accounting and Finance) is one of seven in our Business School. It has a well-developed research culture, the teaching program is strong and innovative and the quality of teaching, as judged by student evaluations and peer review, is high. You will teach UG, PG and post-experience students, alongside research student supervision.
