It is the main doctoral studies programme in Lithuania directly related to knowledge of creation of high added-value solutions for various sectors of industry: aerospace, water, ground and air transport, renewable and nuclear energy.

Areas of manufacturing, storage and support/maintenance require precise quality control, non-destructive testing and safety assurance for humans and environment. The main objective of the Measurement Engineering programme from Kaunas University of Technology is to educate talented researchers and leading specialists, who may contribute to recent research in a field of measurement engineering, create new knowledge with added value and apply it in practice. TOEFL iBT

General requirements
- This programme accepts OMPT as a mathematics admission test. Depending on your academic background, you may be required to take an OMPT assessment as part of the admission process.
- Application indicating the science field, the topic and the form of funding (online);
- Official legalised Master’s diploma with the diploma supplement or a higher education degree equivalents and academic transcripts (translated into English or Lithuanian and notary verified) and the certificate of recognition if higher education qualification acquired abroad;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Recommendations by two researchers of the relevant science field;
- A research proposal on the selected topic;
- A copy of a valid personal document: a passport (for citizens of all countries) or an ID card (only for citizens of the European Union);
- A copy of the receipt of the application fee payment (55 EUR for EU citizens, and 132 EUR for non-EU citizens);
