Mechanical HVAC Technician

Responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing a variety of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment. As well as some electrical equipment/alarm systems.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain, repair and install a variety of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment/including, but not limited to: centrifugal chillers, reciprocating chillers, cooling towers, large air handlers, split system cooling/heat pump systems, window air conditioners, ice makers, walk-in coolers and freezers, pumps, large gas/oil steam and hot water boilers and other associated equipment.
• Keep detailed records of materials and labor time. Input data into work order system.
• Interpret mechanical plans and specifications, and be able to work effectively with a minimum of supervision in a client-oriented service environment.
• Responsible for maintaining pneumatic, electric and electronic control systems; operate and maintain the building automation system.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of work experience
• This position requires a valid driver's license for the operation of a company-owned, rented or leased vehicle
