Responsibilities include stewardship of waitlist management, selection committee processes, quality and performance improvement, and compliance with OPTN/UNOS, CMS, and SRTR requirements. The Medical Director will serve as an internal and external spokesperson for the program and participate in all transplant-related clinical and administrative meetings.
