The Yale Cancer Center and Section of Medical Oncology invite applications from board-certified medical oncologists for a position emphasizing clinical and translational research at the level of Associate or full Professor at Yale School of Medicine on the Clinician-Scientist or Clinician-Educator/Scholar track. Of particular importance is experience in clinical care of melanoma and strong interest in the development of clinical trials and novel therapies for these diseases. Emphasis is placed on the ability to foster interaction between laboratory and clinical investigators, lead investigator-initiated clinical trial teams and conduct high impact clinical and translational research. The applicant would assume roles in the skin cancer SPORE team and co-lead projects in collaboration with bench scientists. Other leadership opportunities within the Division of Skin and Kidney Cancer are available depending on the specific interests of the applicant. The position involves clinical care and clinical and/or bench-based research activities as well as expectations for participating in the teaching mission of the institution.
