Men's Soccer Coach - Part-time Adjunct Pool

Kern Community College District is seeking applications for part-time, hourly adjunct instructors for the Men's Soccer Coach position.

Basic Function

Kern Community College District accepts applications for part-time, hourly faculty pools on a continuous basis. This allows the division to contact qualified applicants immediately if a need arises. Applications remain active for up to two years.

Representative Duties

Part-time faculty positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to assist a diverse group of adult students in achieving their educational goals. Assignments may include a combination of day, evening, weekend, and/or off-campus classes at Bakersfield College.

Minimum Qualifications

Any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience, or the equivalent. A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions.

• Ability to develop curriculum, participate in recruitment, communicate effectively, maintain subject matter currency, assess student learning outcomes, and use technology.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the California community college mission.
