Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration, or a related area with atleast 2 years of related professional experience
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities that must be demonstrated:
- Must understand and be committed to working with people of all types in a professional manner
- Must be comfortable with online technologies (including familiarity with student information systems) and proficient in MS Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; academic and database platforms, and digital social media applications
- Possess working knowledge of marketing
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately
- Understand and apply appropriately university policy as well as the complex rules and guidelines of SACS, CAHME, UNC GA with regard to distance education activity
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use judgment and discretion
- Effective relationship building with health care professionals
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Good organization and time management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing and Recruitment: 35%
- Manage marketing, outreach, and recruitment activities for the Master of Health Administration Program to support enrollment growth and applicant quality goals.
- Participate in Health Care Career events to represent MHA program as assigned
- Lead and coordinate recruitment events, information sessions, career fairs, and regional outreach activities; supports development and execution of the program's marketing plan.
- Coordinate with the Graduate School on recruitment events and information sessions
Coordinator for MHA Student Advising; Program Planning; Program Events; Coordinator with Grad School on Student Policies, Issues and Needs: 65%
- Coordinate with the Graduate School on recruitment initiatives, responds to applicant inquiries, and oversees timely communication throughout the admissions process.
- Serve as a primary resource for prospective students by explaining admission requirements, and providing guidance on curriculum, prerequisites, application and enrollment processes.
- Participate in applicant review and selection process for admissions to the program
- Work with the Program Director to plan and coordinate program events including student orientation sessions, annual student meetings, and advisory board meetings; manages event logistics and communications.
- Support prospective and enrolled students by troubleshooting administrative, admission, registration, and program-related issues, and connecting students with appropriate university resources.
- Provide academic advising to enrolled students to ensure compliance with program, college, and university academic requirements.
- Compile and monitor projected and actual student credit-hour production, enrollment trends, student outcomes and other operational metrics to support strategic planning, decision- making and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintains applicant, student, and program administrative records
- Leads program communications with internal and external stakeholders through social media, newsletters, announcements, and other outreach channels.
- Provide input for policies and procedures including the graduate student handbook that ensure effective management of the Program.
- Maintain regular communication with the Graduate Program Director and Department Chair regarding administrative or student developments or concerns
- Monthly reporting on program tuition differential budget
Option to teach 1 graduate level course per year including Foundations of the US Health Care System.
Work Schedule/Hours:Mon - Fri, between the hours of 8am - 5pm
Suggested Salary Range: $40,170-$46,238 (3/4 time position salary)
