Salary range: A reasonable salary range estimate for this position is $4,500 - $5,000 per term. Position description

The University of California, San Diego, Department of Otolaryngology (https://oto.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body.

The UCSD/SDSU Joint Doctoral program in Audiology seeks lecturers to teach a course on Intraoperative Monitoring during the fall, winter, or spring terms.

Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching a group of approximately ten second-year AuD students who have basic knowledge of evoked potentials and neuroanatomy. The course will be conducted one day per week for seven weeks (less than a full quarter).

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must have the following:

  1. An AuD or PhD degree in a health-related field.
  2. Board certification in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring.
  3. American Audiology Board Certification in Intraoperative Monitoring or certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.
  4. A Minimum of three years of experience in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring.

Preferred qualifications

Candidates with more than a year of teaching experience or more than a year of clinical experience in Intraoperative Monitoring are preferred.
