Position description
The University of California, San Diego, Department of Otolaryngology (https://oto.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body.
The UCSD/SDSU Joint Doctoral program in Audiology seeks lecturers to teach a course on Intraoperative Monitoring during the fall, winter, or spring terms.

Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching a group of approximately ten second-year AuD students who have basic knowledge of evoked potentials and neuroanatomy. The course will be conducted one day per week for seven weeks (less than a full quarter).

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates must have the following:
- An AuD or PhD degree in a health-related field.
- Board certification in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring.
- American Audiology Board Certification in Intraoperative Monitoring or certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.
- A Minimum of three years of experience in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring.
Preferred qualifications
Candidates with more than a year of teaching experience or more than a year of clinical experience in Intraoperative Monitoring are preferred.
