- The UW M3D PhD program no longer requires GRE scores. If you anticipate GRE scores will be useful to the Admissions Committee in evaluating your applications, you are welcome to submit them. However, screening and interview decisions will not be made based on GRE scores.

- Multiple members of the Admissions Committee review every application, with attention given to the following impressions from your application materials (personal statement, resume/CV, letters of reference, and academic record, for example: research preparation & potential, fit to the research interests of the Program, long-term goal, and academic preparation.)
