Tiga's R&D Center, based in Ankara, runs a broad portfolio of national and international research projects spanning digital therapeutics, AI in medicine, extended reality (XR) in healthcare, remote monitoring, and clinical decision support.
Research Areas
We welcome MSCA PF applications across the full range of Tiga's research and development activities, including but not limited to:
- Digital health & health information systems (interoperability, HIE, EHR/PHR, e-prescription)
- Artificial intelligence & health analytics (clinical AI, predictive analytics, population health)
- Personalised healthcare & remote/telehealth technologies (remote monitoring, digital therapeutics, extended reality in care and rehabilitation)
- Health data security, privacy-preserving technologies & pharmaceutical traceability
Candidates are encouraged to propose their own research idea aligned with one of these areas. In addition, Tiga can facilitate co-supervision and interdisciplinary collaboration with Ankara-based universities and departments across relevant fields (e.g. computer engineering, biomedical engineering, medicine, public health, data science), supporting an intersectoral and interdisciplinary fellowship in line with MSCA's objectives.
About the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship
MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships support researchers holding a PhD who wish to conduct research abroad, strengthen their skills, and advance their careers through international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree completed no more than 8 years prior to the call deadline (career breaks such as unemployment, non-research employment, parental or sick leave do not count towards this period).
- Applicants may be of any nationality; there are no age restrictions.
- Mobility rule: applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Türkiye for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
What We Are Looking For
- A PhD in a field relevant to the proposed research area (e.g. computer science, biomedical/health informatics, AI/data science, electrical/biomedical engineering, public health, or related disciplines)
- Hands-on research experience relevant to the chosen theme, demonstrated through publications or applied projects
- Strong analytical and independent research skills, with an excellent publication record
- Advanced knowledge of scientific research methodology
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary R&D team
- Motivation to pursue interdisciplinary, translational research with real-world clinical and industry impact
- Eligibility for MSCA PF funding
