COPROMAT (CENIM-CSIC) is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral candidates to apply for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 in the field of corrosion science, surface engineering, and metallic materials. The group offers a dynamic and internationally competitive research environment, combining fundamental understanding and applied research on material degradation, durability, and advanced protection technologies.
Research at COPROMAT focuses on corrosion and tribocorrosion mechanisms, electrochemical characterisation of metallic alloys in demanding environments, and the development of sustainable, high-performance coatings and surface treatments. The group also has a growing research line in biomaterials, including surface functionalisation to enhance biocompatibility, antimicrobial properties, and corrosion resistance in physiological conditions.
Hosted at CENIM-CSIC, fellows will benefit from access to advanced electrochemical and surface characterisation facilities, as well as close supervision by experienced researchers with strong international recognition. COPROMAT is actively involved in European and international collaborations, providing excellent opportunities for networking, interdisciplinary research, and career development.
We offer comprehensive support throughout the MSCA application process, including proposal preparation and mentoring. Selected candidates will join a stimulating research environment that fosters scientific excellence, independence, and long-term career progression.
