MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships – Sustainable Recovery of Critical and Strategic Metals (Pilot‑Scale)

Our research group invites outstanding postdoctoral researchers to apply for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships with us as host institution, in the field of sustainable recovery of critical and strategic metals.

The proposed research will focus on:

Design, development and optimisation of innovative recovery processes for critical and strategic metals
Scale‑up from laboratory to pilot‑scale systems, bridging fundamental research and industrial application
Circular economy, resource efficiency and environmental sustainability, aligned with EU Raw Materials and Green Deal priorities
Interdisciplinary research with strong scientific, technological and societal impact

We offer:

An experienced supervision team with a strong publication and project‑coordination record
Access to state‑of‑the‑art laboratories and pilot‑scale facilities
Full support in co‑developing a competitive MSCA PF proposal (scientific excellence, impact and implementation)
An international and collaborative research environment, with opportunities for industrial and academic networking

We seek highly motivated candidates holding a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related disciplines, with a strong interest in applied research and process development.
