MSHI NTT Open Rank Faculty and Program Leader
About the Opportunity
Bouvé College of Health Sciences and the Khoury College of Computer Sciences invite applications to one non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Teaching Professor, along with a leadership role in the MS in Health Informatics (MSHI) Program. The leadership role will be at the level of Program Director or Associate Program Director, depending upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Teach and participate in departmental, college, and university service
- Support development and maintenance of a strategic plan for program
- Maintain program curricula to ensure courses remain relevant in this fast-changing field
- Engage in networking to establish and further leverage relationships to build a base of prospective student applicants; recruit teaching faculty; and build partnerships with healthcare systems
- Develop and maintain alignment across all program locations
- Manage program administrative activities; advise students; serve as liaison
- Support preparation and management of annual and multi-year enrollment projections and program budget
- Communicate with prospective, new, and current program graduate students
- Represent the program internally and externally; recruit students and faculty
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree
- Minimum of ten years of experience in the healthcare ecosystem
- Minimum of five years of experience teaching in higher education
- Strong communication skills, project management skills, and experience with spreadsheets and databases
- Expertise working independently and as a member of a team
