Multimedia Assistant II
Position Highlights
Responsible for performing a variety of activities to support broadcasts, including scheduling, setup, and adjustment of sound and lighting, preparing and monitoring podcast recordings, and video editing, for the University of Arizona Health Sciences from a central control room in the Health Sciences Building. This position will also require print and digital graphic design experience, providing print, environmental, branding, and social/digital design solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operation of various types of technical equipment including computers, remote cameras, audio mixers, multi-camera broadcast switcher and other television control room equipment including video editing software.
- Responsible for working with Windows and Mac-based streaming technologies, file editing and archiving, using Panopto streaming, Wirecast, and Zoom recording formats.
- Directing live broadcast production of media-related projects, including using Tricaster Broadcast Switcher technology for live events.
- Responsible for contacting and coordination with numerous clients.
- This also includes the editing and archiving of the web-based productions.
- Create materials that reflect established graphic and visual standards.
- Understand University of Arizona branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media.
- Design print postcards, booklets, brochures, magazines, newsletters, posters and conference poster sessions.
- Design and execute compelling digital and print assets including, digital marketing emails, event collateral, social media graphics, web banners, user interfaces signage and on-screen presentations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate, create a schedule and consult with clients and complete billing paperwork.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in live broadcast production of media-related projects, including experience using Tricaster Broadcast Switcher technology for live events.
- Knowledge and experience with Windows and Mac-based streaming technologies, file editing and archiving, using Panopto streaming, Wirecast, and Zoom recording formats.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat. PowerPoint and Keynote.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
