Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Multimedia Producer in the Office of University Marketing and Communication.

Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and relevant experience in the fields of photo and video to include experience with high-end digital cameras, studio and location lighting, photo and video editing, and digital darkroom techniques.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree. At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the fields of photo and video to include experience with high-end digital cameras, studio and location lighting, photo and video editing, and digital darkroom techniques. Experience telling human-centered stories aligned with institutional branding and strategic goals. Experience with cinema-quality cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and studio production. Experience with mirrorless and DSLR cameras, off camera lighting, studio, and location set ups.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the production and distribution of high quality, well branded, relevant and effective photo and video assets for the university. This includes capturing and enhancing multimedia elements for print and digital marketing materials as well as collateral for internal communication initiatives, brand storytelling, public relations, and executive communications.
- Manage the entire process, from pre-production to post-production, for each assignment ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in adherence to provided feedback and the quality standards of University Marketing and Communication.
- Responsible for maintaining digital assessment management best practices, as well as ensuring all assets are appropriately labeled, key-worded, categorized, and accessible to university staff. Assist in logging, tagging, and organizing photography and video clips to maintain a comprehensive library for easy retrieval and future use.
- Responsible for the planning, setup, execution, and management of video recording of various university programs, presentations, or events.
- Assist with onboarding and training of student staff to ensure consistency in the overall quality and creativity of video projects.
Production Manager II (CG20/61122296/FTE-S01163P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN07. Salary Range: $39,300.00 – $53,100.00. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May be required to work occasional nights and weekends and could require limited travel. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
