About the opportunity

The School of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Sydney (Sydney, Australia) invites applications for several academic positions at all levels with demonstrable strong research experience in areas such as Novel Wearable Technologies, AI for Health Monitoring and Treatment, Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials, Bioelectronic Medicine and Neural Engineering, Engineering Solutions for Discovery Medicine, Translational Medical Imaging, Health Systems Engineering, Point-of-Care Diagnostics and Treatment, and Biomechanics and Robotics.

All positions are full-time, continuing (tenure-track), teaching and research roles based in Sydney. Successful applicants will join a group of enthusiastic, highly research-active academics who deliver world-class education and have an excellent research record.

About you

Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant field such as biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, material engineering, chemical engineering, medical science, or biology. They should demonstrate a strong track record in biomedical engineering, including publishing high-quality papers, securing funding, teaching innovatively, and possessing outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
