Job Description
Under the leadership of the Dean and academic leaders, all the faculties of the School of Music will work together with an international teaching team to provide high-quality teaching and practical services for all disciplines.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate students;
- Coach/lead small ensembles;
- Teach related Pedagogy & Repertoire and courses in one's area(s) of interest and expertise;
- Mentor and advise students;
- Actively recruit students, individually and collaboratively with colleagues;
- Provide employment guidance and suggestions for graduates;
- Maintain an active, dynamic performance career;
- Serve on School of Music and University governance committees as assigned or elected.
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s degree in Music or 5 years of equivalent professional experience and accomplishment;
- Evidence of commitment to teaching excellence and effectiveness;
- Ability to teach a variety of musical styles and genres;
- Evidence of accomplishment as a performer.
