Job Description

Under the leadership of the Dean and academic leaders, all the faculties of the School of Music will work together with an international teaching team to provide high-quality teaching and practical services for all disciplines.

1. Teach undergraduate and graduate students;
2. Coach/lead small ensembles;
3. Teach related Pedagogy & Repertoire and courses in one's area(s) of interest and expertise;
4. Mentor and advise students;
5. Actively recruit students, individually and collaboratively with colleagues;
6. Provide employment guidance and suggestions for graduates;
7. Maintain an active, dynamic performance career;
8. Serve on School of Music and University governance committees as assigned or elected.

Qualification Requirements

1. Master’s degree in Music or 5 years of equivalent professional experience and accomplishment;
2. Evidence of commitment to teaching excellence and effectiveness;
3. Ability to teach a variety of musical styles and genres;
4. Evidence of accomplishment as a performer.
