Job Description

1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses including but not limited to courses in the undergraduate music theory, Analytical Techniques, Pedagogy of Music Theory, and graduate theory seminars;
2. Supervise undergraduate projects, graduate theses, and doctoral dissertations;
3. Assist to build a domestic and international academic network;
4. Provide employment guidance and suggestions for graduates;
5. Participate in various domestic and international academic activities;
6. Pursue a vigorous research agenda.

Qualification Requirements

1. A doctoral degree in music theory;
2. Evidence of established and active research in the field of music theory;
3. Excellence in college-level teaching.
