Research Fellow (AI for Slope Engineering)

Job Description

We are hiring a Research Fellow to work on using neural networks to predict slope responses to heavy rainfall.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • delivering systematic research outputs related to the topic.
  • publishing a paper in a domain-recognised journal.
  • being able to translate research findings to education materials

Job Requirements

The candidate should:

  • Possess a PhD degree.
  • Demonstrate a research or professional background aligned with the topic (AI and data-driven geotechnical engineering). Experience in multiple areas is highly desirable.
  • Exhibit proficiency and passion in coding (python/C++).
  • Display strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Open to fixed-term contract.
