The Division, Department and University have vibrant, collaborative research communities spanning the translational spectrum. Current areas of research in the division include, but are not limited to, basic, translational, and clinical research in the areas of chronic kidney disease, genetics, dialysis, vascular access, molecular physiology, hypertension, and health equity. A new Cardio-Renal & Metabolism Center, under the direction of Nephrology and Cardiovascular Medicine faculty, was inaugurated in 2024.
Minimum qualifications: MD and/or PhD, or equivalent degree, with postdoctoral research training, with strong potential for high-impact, federally funded research.
Preferred qualifications: Applicants with federally funded research programs, and, at senior levels, with national and/or international recognition, as well as applicants with high potential for collaboration within the Division, Department, or University will be prioritized, particularly those whose research synergizes with institutional priorities.
