Neurologist - Neuromuscular, Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine
The Department of Neurology in the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University seeks neuromuscular neurologists to join our team. Clinical responsibilities to include the performance of nerve conduction/EMG studies and participation in the Stony Brook ALS Center of Excellence. Assignment to the inpatient general neurology service will be in line with standard clinical department requirements. Teaching responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents, neurophysiology fellows, as well as EMG technologists. Research interest is strongly desirable.
Required Qualifications: MD or PhD degree (or foreign equivalent). Eligibility for New York State licensure. Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine. Research interest is strongly desirable.
