New Iridium Catalysis Methods for the Preparation of Isotopically-Labelled Compounds of Pharmaceutical Importance
Applications accepted all year round
Funded PhD Project (Students Worldwide)
About the Project
Fully-funded, industry-linked, PhD studentships are available for study under the supervision of Professor Billy Kerr and Dr David Lindsay. Projects will explore new iridium catalysis methods for the preparation of isotopically-labelled compounds of pharmaceutical importance. Alongside preparative organic chemistry, computationally-driven methods will also be used to inform catalyst design and direct the emerging reaction scope. Studentships are funded in collaboration with the world-leading biopharma company GSK.

Funding Notes
If successful, international students will require additional funding to bridge the home versus international fee rate. The Academic Supervisors will apply for this on the candidate’s behalf.
