"Non-Credit Continuing Ed Instructor - Foreign Languages"

Position Summary

Johnson County Community College Continuing Education is seeking enthusiastic and culturally aware instructors to teach non-credit foreign language courses for adult learners. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are passionate about language, culture, and lifelong learning.

Languages of Interest Include (but are not limited to): Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese.

Courses to be taught are intended to be purely recreational and will not teach to any specific certification or designation.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more languages
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching or facilitation experience preferred
