Non-Student Short-Term Casual
Position Summary
The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a Non-Student short term casual to work as a part of Dr. Genkinger’s research team and research projects. More specifically, to be a worker on several of her projects related to determinants of cancer and cancer survival, aging, frailty and longevity. The short term casual worker will be responsible for developing IRB, questionnaires and databases, implementing studies, conducting statistical analyses, writing and editing of manuscripts. The incumbent will also help with conducting thorough literature review and conducting summaries of the literature reviews.
Responsibilities
- Assist management of ongoing studies, 55%
- Data analysis, 15%
- Literature reviews, 20%
- Drafting manuscripts, 5%
- Other duties as assigned, 5%
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a high level of initiative, clear communication skills, and attention to detail in addition to a demonstrated ability to be flexible to the evolving needs of several global mental health studies. Strong writing skills and familiarity with data management and analysis and statistical programs (SAS) are strongly preferred.
