Description:

The Carroll School of Management at Boston College invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in Business Analytics. All teaching areas will be considered, but the ability to teach data analytics and machine learning in addition to basic statistics is preferred. The normal teaching load is 6 courses (3 per semester) and an active participation in University service activities is anticipated.

The expected 9-month base salary range (paid over 12 months) for this position is $140,000-150,000 for the Assistant Professor of the Practice rank, $160,000-175,000 for Associate Professor of the Practice rank, and $185,000-200,000 for the Professor of the Practice Rank. The actual pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate qualifications and prior experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have completed a PhD or expect to complete their PhD by August, 2026 in Business/Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related data-analytics discipline and have an outstanding teaching record. The appointment is expected to begin Fall 2026.
