Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position at Institute of Philosophy, National Sun Yat-sen University

The Institute of Philosophy at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (R.O.C.), invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position (Assistant Professor or above). The appointment is to be effective on August 1, 2026.

Qualification:

• Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in philosophy-related fields.
• Candidates should be able to teach in both Mandarin and English.
• Candidates should be willing to teach courses in English.

Research field: Contemporary Continental Philosophy (preferably in the area of Contemporary German Philosophy).

Application Documents:

• Detailed curriculum vitae.
• List of publications.
• Ph.D. diploma (including a photocopy of R.O.C. official authentication), and certificate/evidence of held academic positions.
• Doctoral thesis and representative recent publications (within five years).
• Three teaching subjects and course syllabi. You may consult the course structure of the Institute of Philosophy.
• Three recommendation letters.
