Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies (OWLS)
The Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies (OWLS) seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary and nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary and nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and department need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and/or Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies.
This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters. Positions are subject to availability of funds.
Required Qualifications: Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience is preferred.
