Description

This is a non-tenure-track faculty appointment at one of four locations in Jackson and Williamson Counties. Reporting to the Center Director, the Lead Teacher maintains a program of developmentally appropriate classroom instruction and provides a safe and nurturing environment in accordance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards, Program Policies and Procedures, and Department of Children and Family Services Licensing Standards.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.

1. Plan and deliver high-quality, developmentally, and culturally appropriate instruction for three to five-year-old children. This includes leading large group leaning times in a manner consistent with CLASS philosophy and Developmentally Appropriate Practice.
