Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Instructor, OBGYN, General Obstetrics & Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the level of Clinical Instructor to join a busy academic practice with an established history of excellence. Practice sites may include Lake Grove, East Setauket, Bohemia, Commack, and Central Islip. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive women’s healthcare to patients within the practice. Experience providing care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients highly valued.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree, NYS License or Eligible for NYS License, Board Certified or Board Eligible to practice as a NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years post-licensure experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience providing care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients highly valued. Proficient in Electronic Medical Records application. Excellent communication skills.

Special Notes: Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
