Nursing Adjunct Faculty - PMHNP

The School of Nursing at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applicants to apply for a part-time, non-tenure-track, adjunct faculty position in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program. This appointment is made on a semester-by-semester, as-needed basis. Salary is commensurate with education, background, and experience.

Essential Functions

• Primary teaching in on-line courses for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program
• Assisting other classroom faculty as needed.
• Mentoring students.
• Participation in program meetings as required.

Required Qualifications

• Terminal degree in nursing (DNP or PhD).
• Minimum of one (1) - two (2) years of clinical experience as a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Eligible for Texas licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience
