General Information:
James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for a 10-month, full-time faculty appointment beginning August 10, 2026. The School of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited Baccalaureate, Master's, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. This position will primarily support the undergraduate Traditional BSN pathway. This position is a renewable term appointment (RTA) at the Lecturer Rank.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for this position are mainly teaching focused with a smaller focus on service. The role requires in-person teaching in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings for the Traditional BSN pathway.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a graduate degree in Nursing is required. Candidates must have an active registered nurse (RN) registration and the ability to obtain Virginia nursing licensure by Aug 1, 2026. Candidates must have at least three years of recent clinical experience in adult health nursing.
Teaching experience in higher education, and the flexibility to teach across a variety of topic areas, is preferred.
