Overview
Students will be prepared to manage a variety of conditions from episodic conditions (coughs, earaches, fevers, etc.) to chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, asthma, etc.) utilizing a holistic approach that evaluates all the current conditions for the patient to formulate a treatment plan.
Key Features
Applicants may enter the program as a post-BSN student or a post-master’s (in nursing) student. Graduates of the Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program from The University of Arizona are prepared as advanced practice nurses and are eligible for Nurse Practitioner certification.

Submit a minimum TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 550 paper based (PB), 79 internet based (iBT) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) composite score of 7 (no subject area below a 6)
Transcripts and Degrees: Submit CGFNS documentation for nursing degrees earned outside of the United States.
