Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Nursing Simulation/Skills Lab Coordinator works as part of the team in MCLA's Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program and is an educational and technical expert who can develop, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair simulation and nursing skills lab equipment.
The position works closely with nursing faculty members of the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program, supporting the Program and curriculum for the BSN major. This essential staff member is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the simulation/nursing skills lab focusing extensively on facilitating student learning outcomes associated with prescribed course and program outcomes, implementation of the nursing curriculum, program evaluation and improvement; supports the philosophy of nursing program and supports the mission of the College.
