Swedish Medical Group is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join the First Hill/Ballard OB-GYN and Midwifery practice in Seattle, Washington.
This is a highly collaborative, full-scope practice serving a diverse patient population at First Hill and Ballard locations with strong connections to midwifery, maternal-fetal medicine, OB-GYN Hospitalists, other OB-YN subspecialties and the Swedish OB-GYN Residency Program. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about providing exceptional patient-centered care while helping teach and support residents in a dynamic academic-community environment.
- Full-time position based in the First Hill/Ballard OB-GYN and Midwifery practice
- Must have completed an accredited OB-GYN residency program before start
- Full-time, full-scope OB-GYN opportunity with a mix of obstetrics, gynecology, procedures, surgery, and longitudinal outpatient care.
- Sign-on bonus eligible position
- Experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical judgment and interest in teaching are welcome to apply
- Collaborative practice model with OB-GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurses, advanced practice clinicians, and residents
- Teaching-focused environment with opportunities to work with Swedish OB-GYN residents in clinic, inpatient consultation, labor and delivery, and surgical care
- Opportunities for more formal residency faculty engagement
- Shared call and inpatient support model designed to promote safe patient care, team communication, and sustainable physician practice
- Comprehensive and multidisciplinary team with access to high-risk obstetric consultation, specialty gynecology referral, and robust hospital-based services
- Compensation is between $375,745 and $487,670 per year
- Comprehensive benefits include health, vision, dental, retirement, and malpractice coverage
- As a non-profit organization, Swedish is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
