Overview
The Occupational Therapy program at Thomas Jefferson University is designed to prepare occupational therapists with in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following: clinical practice skills, research skills, administration, leadership, program and policy development, advocacy, education, and theory development.
Outcomes
Our graduates may engage in collaborative research and practice as direct care providers, consultants, educators, managers, leaders, researchers, and advocates for the profession and the consumer.

General requirements
- Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent upon evaluation of international transcripts prior to the start of the program.
- A cumulative GPA minimum of a 3.0 is preferred, a prerequisite coursework GPA minimum of a 3.0 is required.
- A minimum of 8 hours of observation with a licensed OT or OTA will be required to be completed prior to matriculation.
