Are you an experienced occupational therapist with a knack for nurturing future professionals? The University of Canberra, in collaboration with industry partners across the Canberra region, is seeking expressions of interest for a Casual Occupational Therapy Practice Educator to support innovative student placement models.

About the role:
This role plays a key part in developing occupational therapy practice education by:
- Collaborating with the University of Canberra’s practice education team and program convener.
- Supporting student learning and development by partnering with industry to deliver innovative placement models.
- Building supervision capacity across service providers.
- Completing placement assessments and providing feedback.
The casual roles offer flexible hours, averaging 10 – 20 hours per week for placement blocks of 5, 8 or 10-weeks spread across the year. UC is looking to build a pool of qualified candidates who looking to shape the future of the Occupational Therapy profession by supporting students in completing their practical education.
About you:
To be considered for these casual opportunities, you will need:
- Current AHPRA-registration as an occupational therapist
- Clinical 0ccupational therapy experience in aged care or community-based services (adults or young people)
- A strong background in student supervision
- A collaborative and flexible approach to education
