Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to: RECORDS: Prepares, process, and maintains a variety of patients, unit and nursing home records... SUPPLIES AND MAIL: Orders Office Assistant supplies and personal items for patients. Receives and distributes mail, flowers, and personal items... PHYSICIAN PRESCRIPTIONS: Prepare requisitions/forms for diets, consultations, and laboratory tests as prescribed. CHARTING: Maintains patient charts, transcribes physician's orders, vital signs, weights, and other information to charts and computer... PHONE AND APPOINTMENTS: Answers patients call and relay to appropriate staff. Answer telephone and deliver messages... OTHER: Perform all other duties as assigned.
