Office Coordinator
Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to senior leadership of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences (SCCS), including all Deans and chairs.
Responsibilities
The duties include but are not limited to:
SCCS Summerville Campus Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for students and visitors of the SCCS Summerville suite. Manages the reception area, answers telephone calls and greets visitors to the office. Manages equipment and supply inventory. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences-Summerville Campus. Order/maintain supplies, provide backup administrative support as needed for other SCCS areas (Riverfront and Annex). Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements for SCCS faculty and staff. Complete documentation related to financial requests including travel, purchase orders, reimbursement for staff and faculty. Serves as the building coordinator for the SCCS suite and is the primary point of contact for facilities. Provides support for school events including recruitment and outreach event set-up, and other events on campus.
Supports Senior Leadership of SCCS
Manage the calendar and meetings on behalf of the senior leadership. Provide administrative support to the senior leadership, including but not limited to faxing, maintaining files, organizing the office, attending appropriate meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes for distribution in a timely fashion. Prepare documents, maintain confidential files, and distribute incoming correspondence and mail management. Works with the registrar's office and classroom to schedule classes each semester. Manage the school and related program email to field prospective student questions. Provide student support in conjunction with advising staff. Assists with tracking Undergraduate course and research assistants.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of six years of progressively responsible office support experience OR High School diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization, with a minimum of nine years of progressively responsible office support experience.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skill. Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Abilities
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, maintain confidentiality, keep accurate records and make independent decisions.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; M-F. Pay Band: B5. Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
