We are seeking Adjunct Dissertation Mentors for the Practical Theology Ph.D. program to guide students through the dissertation research and writing phases, ensuring the production of high-quality, original scholarship that aligns with the university's academic standards.

Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University's mission of Training Champions for Christ. It is expected that an adjunct member models a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University, engage in an active commitment to, and experience of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview. Adjuncts should view their teaching, engagement with students, and scholarship as a means to a significant educational end. Qualifications and Credentials

Candidates must hold a conferred terminal degree (Ph.D. or Th.D.) in one of the following areas:

Abilities and Competencies

  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Canvas
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated strengths in teaching & mentoring at the college level
