Open Rank Business Services Professional (Senior - Principal)
Job Summary
The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Business Services Senior or Principal Professional position. This position serves in a multifaceted role and will provide professional oversight of event planning, events fundraising, events budgetary tracking, procurement, logistical support, marketing and communications, and overall administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative support for the Division of Gastroenterology, Community Section and members of the Leadership team in the division exercising tact, confidentiality and diplomacy
- Support the Gastroenterology faculty and fellows groups in terms of reimbursement, planning travel, and expense reports.
- All-encompassing facilitation and project planning for large-scale Division conferences and events including the Mehta Lectureship, Ahnen Memorial Lectureship, Rocky Mountain Highlights in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Rocky Mountain IBD conference.
- Oversee all logistics and timelines, develop project plans, timelines, milestones, fundraising management and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with Course Director, Division and overall organization goals.
- Work with the Business Services Program Manager to manage the marketing, social media and promotional efforts for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
- Assist in the management of the fellowship program through tracking and recording of evaluations for fellows in Medhub, while consulting with AMION.
- Overall support in recruitment, onboarding, licensing, reimbursement, travel logistics, scheduling, and credentialing.
- Other duties as assigned.
