Open Rank-Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor of Nursing
Position Description
The School of Nursing at Georgia State University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position to serve as the Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program, beginning August 2026. The Director provides academic and clinical leadership for both the post-baccalaureate and post-master’s DNP programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the DNP program, including curriculum oversight, accreditation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Teach courses within the graduate DNP curriculum and mentor/advise students in academic and clinical settings.
- Provide leadership for faculty coordination, clinical placements, and program assessment.
- Participate in scholarly activities, service to the School and University, and engagement with the broader professional nursing community.
Faculty rank will be determined based on prior clinical, teaching, and administrative experience.
