Open Rank Faculty in Immunology

The Medical College of Georgia, Immunology Center of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor to serve as an established immunologist. Research interests may include Cancer immunology, Autoimmune disease, Vascular immunology, Leukemia/Lymphoma immunology, T cell biology, Checkpoint inhibitors, Engineered immune cells, Antigen presentation and DC biology, ADCC, Fc receptors, Complement, or Monocyte and Macrophage Biology. This is a tenure-track position.

Responsibilities

• Funding (75%): Maintain continuous NIH funding.
• Teaching (10%): Train graduate students and postdocs; possibly teach an advanced Immunology course.
• Service (10%): Participate on IMMCG and AU committees.
• Other (5%): Duties as assigned by the Director.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D., MD, or equivalent from an accredited institution. For Assistant Professor: Early career with appropriate postgraduate training. For Associate Professor: Mid-level career with at least five years as Assistant Professor. For Professor: Senior-level career with at least five years as Associate Professor. Must demonstrate ability as a teacher, scholar, and in other assigned duties.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Full-time, fiscal year position. Salary commensurate with education, experience, and achievements, subject to availability of funds. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, holidays, leave, retirement, and tuition waiver.
