Open Rank Faculty in Immunology
Job Summary
The Medical College of Georgia, Immunology Center of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor to serve as an established immunologist. Research interests may include Cancer immunology, Autoimmune disease, Vascular immunology, Leukemia/Lymphoma immunology, T cell biology, Checkpoint inhibitors, Engineered immune cells, Antigen presentation and DC biology, ADCC, Fc receptors, Complement, or Monocyte and Macrophage Biology. This is a tenure-track position.
Responsibilities
- Funding - 75%: Maintain continuous NIH funding.
- Teaching - 10%: Train graduate students and postdocs; possibly teach advanced Immunology courses.
- Service - 10%: Participate on IMMCG and AU committees.
- Other - 5%: Other duties as assigned by Director.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D., MD, or equivalent from an accredited institution. For Assistant Professor: Early career with appropriate postgraduate training. For Associate Professor: Mid-level career with at least five years as Assistant Professor or equivalent. For Professor: Senior-level career with at least five years as Associate Professor or equivalent. Must demonstrate evidence of teaching ability, scholarly activity, and other assigned duties.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
This is a full-time, fiscal year position. Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements, subject to availability of funds.
